Dr. Ginn extended his residency for an additional year to serve in a
leadership position as Chief Resident at the Medical College of Ohio.
He is Medical Director of the Catheterization Laboratory, Noninvasive
Cardiac Services and Cardiac Rehabilitation at Cape Fear Valley Medical
Center.

Dr. Klang’s special training includes high volume balloon
angioplasty, intracoronary stenting, directional and rotational

Dr. Bacon’s experience includes serving as White House Physician.
He also served as Medical Officer on the U.S.S. Iwo Jima and U.S.S. San
Diego, and as Staff Cardiologist/Electrophysiologist and Head of
Cardiovascular Division at the National Naval Center in Bethesda,
Maryland.

Prior to joining Cape Fear Cardiology, Dr. Munugoti was an associate
with Delaware Cardiovascular Associates in Dover. He served as Chief
Resident in Internal Medicine at the State University of New York at
Buffalo. A native of India, Dr. Munugoti became a U.S. citizen in 1997.

Dr. Hodges served on active duty in the Army Medical Corps for 11
years, including a year in a combat support hospital in Iraq during
Operation Iraqi Freedom. He also served as Chief of Cardiology at Womack
Army Medical Center, and as Chief Medical Resident at William Beaumont
Army Medical Center in Fort Bliss, Texas.

Dr. DePaola served as General Medical Officer on the U.S.S. Dwight
D. Eisenhower. She was also appointed Director of the Congestive Heart
Failure/Transplant Clinic and Cardiac Rehabilitation at the National
Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. She served as an active
duty Naval Officer for 11 years.

Mr. Dylan Miller, N.P.
CFC Member since 2007
As a Nurse Practitioner focusing on adult patients, Dylan Miller has
spent most of his career in the specialty field of Cardiology. He
earned both his Bachelor’s of Science and Master’s of Science in Nursing
from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Mr. Miller’s
experience includes working in Cardiovascular Surgery, Endoscopy, and
Interventional Cardiology in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. He is an
Associate member of the American College of Cardiology and a Certified
Instructor of Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
Mr. Steven Dzama, P.A.
CFC Member since 2008
As a Physician Assistant at Cape Fear Cardiology, Steven Dzama plays
a key role in patient care. He earned his Masters Degree in Medical
Science from the Physician Assistant Program at Methodist University.
Prior to his career as a Physician Assistant, Mr. Dzama served for
nearly 25 years in the U.S. Air Force. During his tenure, he maintained
life saving equipment and provided ground and water survival instruction
to aircrew members. He is a Gulf war veteran and retired from the USAF
at Pope AFB in October 1999, where he was superintendent of life
support operations. Mr. Dzama has also volunteered in the community as
an Emergency Medical Technician.
